I’ve been thinking of clarity. What if love is clarity of perception and accuracy of response? What if love is a shared project? We build our world together and clear communication is helpful.

Yes, we build our world together and we love together every day. This notion is behind the cookbook I recently illustrated titled “Kim Cooks Sue Draws”

Like the cookbook Patchwork Poems is about sharing love and being clear about what you need, like, want, hope for etc.

Also on the topic of love and having a clear awareness of history and proportion: this week I shared another fully baked but not yet cream-cheese-frosted (made into a printed book) story from my two sketchbooks. The book on the left has the handwritten story “The Famous Visitor” and a tiny drawing. The book on the right has a larger version of the drawing.
