Gee, I sure like you, Sue π your posts always put a smile on my face. TGIF to you and all of your readers, have a great weekend, and will reStack ASAP π
π―Professor Sue! Love your artist statement so much.
You bring so much light to the world. Iβm fortunate to have found you in the stack. As Iβve said before, l revel in my basic-ness. Your philosophy speaks π
Lol!!!! Thank you so much for your kindness!! I'm so glad I've met you too through the stack!!! And yes, simple basic-ness is wonderful! Thank you for being basic here with me it means a lot to me!!!! ππππ
Oooh!!! I'm making note of that title by Thorne too!!!! Thank you!!!!
Just prior to getting your package I'd read "Rejoice" by Steven Erikson... it too is sci-fi and cozy. I loved the premise: outer space visitors make it *impossible* for humans to hurt each other in any way. I recommend it highly. It was going to be a hard to find another book to read after it... and then your package arrives!!! ππ«Άπ€π
Sending so many hugs. I do hope that things are on the mend. Sighβ¦. Love the Cook poem. Most entertaining. And well done on continuing with your art. Being grumpy would be totally understandable at this point! Lovely watching it come to life. Hugs my dear. All the best.
Thank you so very much for your hugs and support! And for your understanding too!!! I'm delighted to hear that you liked my Our Cook poem!! You put a smile on my face!! Hugs, big hugs, to you too!!!! π€
Love it! The Hordes' Prayer? As in the hungry hordes whom cooks nourish with damn hard work! You are so right about "the rest of us" who labor daily in obscurity so that the whole thing works. Especially astute calling-out of the hordes of unsung regular folks behind the flashy ones who get the attention and praise. Let's continue to just know this and hold each other in high esteem for showing up and being reliable, particularly those who care for, teach, and safeguard the most vulnerable in our communities. π°π°π°ππ―π
Oh, and I am going to replace "I prefer not to" with "Tough rabbits!" or "Tough Fluffies!" Let them puzzle on that. πππ€£
