Here’s something new: Often I share my finished sketchbook pages and what inspired them but today here's a video of a drawing in progress. The only thing you don't see is my coffee and breakfast otherwise this is a typical morning sketchbook session. My goal is not a “perfect drawing” but a soothing, playful, gentle, even meditative, mark making session while I'm easing into wakefulness.

If you're curious: I'm using a Sailor Fude De Mannen fountain pen filled with Herbin blue ink in my Royal Talens 5.5 x 3.5 inch sketchbook.
