This week as my eyes slowly recovered from my recent allergy to an eye ointment (link re here) I used my fountain pen with blue ink in it to do some sketchbook pages in support of democracy…
… with the support of our cat.
Please feel free to use; screenshot, save, print, re-post and share my blue art below … let's remember who we are!
In solidarity with all of us… We The People!!! 💙
Here's one with some ink and gouache paints.
You can find a Jan 14, No Kings protest near you here. Thank you!!
I too have been having eye issues with pollen—first time ever! I wonder if having had cataract surgery in March had anything to do with it? So I totally feel for ya!
I love your little flowers surrounding the statement “There are NO KINGS in a democracy!” I’ve yet to paint my signs for tomorrow, I may have to do something similar with flowers and vegetables.
I’m really hoping tomorrow will be the tipping point. My intention is that Lightning storms are predicted over DC so the Army will be forced to cancel the parade.
On my part of the planet we’ll be getting rain in the morning but clouds for our peace rally in the afternoon. Yay! A win/win, I won’t have to water my veggie garden I finally finished planting today, and we’ll have clear weather to gather with like minded souls. Enjoy tomorrow! ☮️🫶🏻🤗
I do hope you and your eye's are healing and will soon be all better. Do take care of yourself. We need you to be 100% A-Okay! Sending you big hugs! :-)
Thank you for your Sue Clancy art and collection of thoughts on Democracy. Love the Jamie Raskin's quote! Looks like there will be many good turn-outs tomorrow all around the country! And all over Washington state, too! Love that! As my male cat would say, Piss on the stupid DC parade. :-) We all know the little king will say, "It was the biggest parade ever.....ya da ya da ya da.
I think we should be planning No King 4th of July home and block parties with music and lemonade and something on the bar-bees and strawberry shortcake! :-)
