No post today July 10

Back next Friday A.M

There won't be my usual Friday A.M Sketching post today, July 10, because I saw my primary doctor on Monday July 6. She looked at things and sent me for an EKG. She looked at the EKG and then strongly suggested that I go meet the nice people at the Emergency Department. So J. L. Sullens drove ... and there we met Becka, Jakob, Joshua, Dr. Germain, Aaron, Shirley, Dennis and Tiffany. All very kind nice people... that I hope not to see again anytime soon, at least not in the Emergency Dept, seeing them anywhere else would be great.

Anyway, those very nice people at the Emergency Dept did all the things medical people do when your doctor calls before you get there saying "patient has shortness of breath and chest pain".

After many hours of fun with our aforementioned new friends I was declared "safe to go home".

The gist was that I did *not* have either a heart attack or a pulmonary embolism!!! Yay!! More meds, tests and fun to come and I'll see my Doctor again soon. I'll try avoid alarming the doctor during my next visit. In the meantime I'm starting new meds now… others soon, go back for more tests … I'm to drink*less* coffee, sleep well, rest, have less stress and generally behave myself in a quiet way.

So, there isn't a typical substack post today because I'm supposed to behave.

As I mentioned in our subscriber chat: Do you suppose it was my loud socks that gave the medical folks the idea that they needed to tell me to behave quietly?

Anyway, drawings and general silliness will begin again asap and art will continue in the A.M. as usual. See you next Friday. Thank you for understanding.
