Since some of you are new: I make everything by hand using real-life art supplies. The artist books you see in this newsletter are conceived, written and illustrated by me and are often hand-folded and made into a book format by me too. Yeah, I do all my own stunts. 🤣 (If you just upgraded to paid please remember to check my archive in order to view and/or download my artist books.)

Here's a look over my shoulder at what I'm drawing in my larger sketchbook with my fountain pen and a water brush. My wife took the photo while I was smearing the ink with my water brush to make tones and shades.
