I've been thinking recently of the, often absurd, demands I make on myself (as I wrote in my last post) to do everything perfectly while forgetting to see, do and focus on what *is* realistically possible and just do that as well as I can.
So I reviewed a reminder from my sketchbook…
Because it's a good thing to remember in the mornings I made a mug with that sketchbook page. (Link here.)
Here’s another sketchbook page I reread one morning to remind myself to look at what's possible right now.
Also related to seeing opportunities nearby I did a gouache and ink painting titled “A Bird In Hand Is Worth Two In The Bush" - for upcoming exhibits at the Caplan Art Designs Gallery.
More details about my painting and what inspired it is in this link here.
Another morning I wrote in my sketchbook a related quote by
and other mornings I did the drawings using fountain pens.💚💚💚💚💚💚💚💚
