Let me tell you a story about a funny looking man with a great big sack of seeds and what happened to a town when he visited.

The town was dull and grey, nobody laughed, nobody smiled, no birds sang, no sunlight shone. It had always been that way but the people didn't like it. One day a strange funny looking man came into town. He had long hair. He skipped and danced. He made a sweet twee twee tweedlling sound with his flute. He wore a backpack that made him look hunched over. He was very different from anyone the town's people had ever seen. He looked kind of like the drawing in my sketchbook pictured in this post and his name was Kokopelli.

At first the people didn't like him. The grownups talked of how odd he looked, how strange his song sounded to their ears.

"The more you care

The more you share

The better things will be " sang Kokopelli

"Tweedley Twee, twee, twee" sang the flute.

The adults may have grumbled but the littlest children danced to the tune.

"The more you care

The more you share

The more you'll have you see" sang Kokopelli

"Tweedley Twee, twee, twee" sang the flute

Soon the older children danced too.
