The painting I finished this week is titled “This Little Piggy”.
Here's a video look at it drying on my easel in my studio. In the video you see the paints I used to create this artwork and I describe the poem/rhyme that inspired my painting.
Here are some of my sketchbook pages from this week. Each of these pages were done over multiple mornings during breakfast.
One evening we went grocery shopping and I had to intervene when the store sacker was about to put heavy items on top of soft and breakable items. The next morning I did these pages.
I'm working on an illustration project that includes tiny people in a landscape. So a few mornings I practiced little people.
Because outer space creatures and patterns are fun to draw during another couple of mornings I did these pages.
I hope your weekend is pleasant and that the person who sacks your groceries has played many games of Tetris - or if they haven't that you're able to intervene in time.
I loved your paintings and sketches this week Sue, particularly the piggies and the rooster ones. I am so envious of your studio. This little piggy (me) have none (studio) 😔☹️
I love the little piggies painting. I had no idea they could be French!!
