I appreciate it when other artists share too!! We're in this creative life together!! Perhaps your local library has a copy of Drawing With Imagination? Or perhaps they can access it via interlibrary loan for you? I wish you the best! Just keep drawing 💚💚
Wonderful techniques. People think creativity just happens. To the lucky ones. But in many ways it can be a habit, inspired by clever thought processes and in interest in nature and quotes and life. Thanks so much for another terrific post. (I was away for two weeks on a couple of tiny tropical islands. Bliss!! Just starting to try to catch up on missed posts. Sending hugs. 🤗🤗)
Thank you for these games. I've been working with words so long, my hand has forgotten how to write. I thought doing word puzzles would help, and it does, but trying to do drawing like you do has presented a real challenge for my atrophied drawing muscles and brain. This is delightful and inspiring. I love you characters, especially those that draw all these marvelous designs.
I really appreciate when people who make art share some of their methods and resources. I definitely want to read the book at some point. Just a few days ago, I found a “solo artist” 2 year resource guide that I’m attempting to go through to better my skills - (https://www.brendanmeachen.com/soloartist). I’ll have to remember the little “game”! What a cute way to get your brain going in the mornings and make sure you’re making something!

What a great way to exercise your creative muscles. Thank you for this insight into your process!
You go, little dragon! You've taken doodling to a high art. Your second game sounds like it would work for poetry, too.
Inspiring quote and one you only realise is true once you get on with your creative work!

I love the little drawing dragon. First smile of the morning!
