I guess I am doing those self talks too in my meditations sessions. I loved “be your own therapist and best friend” Soon I am going to make a list of things that I should scratch off from my to do list to slow down.
I wanted to ask you the name of the pens you use to sketch. You told me once and I didn’t write it down. Now I can’t find them?
My favorite fountain pens are "TWSBI Eco" - they have a converter built into the pen and a very large ink capacity. I fill these pens with "Noodlers Ink - Heart Of Darkness" as the ink flows very well in my pens, dries quickly on paper and is fairly waterproof. The ink will smear if I do a *really heavy* watercolor wash over it. I love this combo for sketching! I'm glad to hear you're being gentle with yourself too!!! ❤
Sorry to bother you again Sue, Yesterday I started writing my cookbook by hand. I used my usual nib and Indian ink but it didn't come out good. The ink didn't dry (even though it is summer here) and at times in pen carried too much of. So I decided to buy TWSBI Eco pen. Do you recommend Fine, Extra Fine or Medium?
I have both an Extra Fine and a Medium nib of the TWISBI Eco pens. The Medium nib I use for bolder headings like "Ingredients" and then for the actual list of ingredients I use the Extra Fine nib. If I could only afford one I'd get the Extra Fine and just write headings larger or underline them.
Also I use the Noodlers Heart Of Darkness ink and it dries quickly for me here in the wet damp rainy Pacific Northwest United States where we tease each other to not sit still too long or you'll grow moss behind your knees.
