Lol!!!!! Actually you're sharp eyed!!! Glad you caught that!! As far as I know you're the only one who saw it!!! Thank you so much!!!! 😘 Yes, you never get too old to play with your food and make animal shapes with it!! 🤣🤣🤣🤣💚💚💚
I loved your sketchbook pages, and especially the quote alongside the sunflower sketch. I’m also curious -- how do you decide what to put on your blog vs on Substack? I have a blog too, which I’ve neglected for too long, but I keep thinking I should revive it, maybe...
It is a hard decision isn't it? I've chosen, for now, to put the posts with more words/text in them on my blog. The posts with more photos (like of travels) in them on my blog. Also the "bigger picture" of my creative life is on my blog with the words and photos accompanying. It's a little more art-nerd wonky on my blog sometimes too i.e I'll write about a technique or my thinking or just my life/reading/lunch as it relates to my creativity. Here on Substack I try to keep it just my sketchbook pages and to my ebooks. Both my blog and my Substack refer to each other so my readers have options *and* so I can (hopefully) keep both my Substack and my blog entries short and focused. I try to minimize the amount of time I spend online as I'd rather do things than talk about doing them... Does this answer your question? Thanks for asking!!
Awww thank you!!! Feel free to grab the grilled cheese sandwich recipe!!! Ours was munster cheese, sweet onions and tomatoes on sourdough bread. Seriously yummy!!! Hoping you'll enjoy your version whenever you make it!! 💚💚💚💚
This sounds like a wonderful day of adventure Sue! Some fantastic drawings and art. Fun is something that I consider synonymous with you. I've always had such joy reading your posts and chatting with you.
It's been amazing how decadently delicious this simple sandwich is! I hope you'll enjoy it too when you come to it! I made the one in the photo with Munster cheese, sweet onions and tomatoes on sourdough bread. Yum! 💚
Another beautiful post, Sue - not to mention DELICIOUS! 😊
Yippee!!! So glad you liked it!! 💚🤗
Adult grilled cheese! I use sourdough bread, thinly sliced ham, tomato, and brie. For breakfast I add a fried egg.
Loved your sketches from the Black Rabbit!
Oooh!!! I like your addition of ham and brie!!!!! Or a fried egg!!! Great ideas!! Thanks for sharing!!! And I'm glad you liked my sketches!!
So much fun to see all of this. Also, am I seeing things or does that grilled cheese bread look a bit like the shape of a rabbit?!

Well the rabbit in the drawing and the art rabbit primed me to see it :)
I almost bought these very expensive things the other day that are basically fish sticks because they are a really cute fish shape :)
