You're bald too!!???? Brudda indeed!!!!! I'm with you in the accidentally learning things department also - for example "to shave" encompasses a bewildering array of options and techniques I never realized existed before! ๐Ÿ˜ฒ I've so much to learn!! Love and hugs to my Bald Brudda!! ๐Ÿ’™๐Ÿ’š๐Ÿ’™๐Ÿ’š๐Ÿ’™๐Ÿ’š

I love everything about this post today!

The limericks, hats, the Reptile Dysfunction, spilled โ€œcoffeeโ€, and the trees on the โ€œaftโ€ edgeโ€”all of it!

I find your AM art so inspiring, and where I live I have so many things that I am inspired by, but I get paralyzed with what should I do first and when? I just picked some onions, and tomatoes, and deadheaded the old heads off a whole lot of marigolds growing around the garden. I suppose I could start there.

I love the sound of spent marigold heads when I pop them off between my thumb and forefinger. LOL!

So very kind of you!!! Thank you!! Yes!!!!, That's exactly where I'd start: onions, tomatoes and marigolds... I'd ask myself "who is enjoying the onions and tomatoes?" perhaps there's a group of mice wearing marigold hats having a high tea of onion and tomato sandwiches...๐Ÿค” But that's me. I'm certain that you can take your own feelings and observations about marigolds and that sound and do something with that!!! Even a short diary entry that decribes your delight in that sound would be fun to attempt!!! Your comment as it is was wonderful!!!! Thank you again!!!

Loved this essay. We did fore edge drawings on books when we were in school. Never realized it had a name, I learned something new today.๐Ÿ™ƒ

Lol!! Thank you!! Yes, fore-edge markings are very common among kids at school. Even the schools themselves mark the edges of books with names of schools, classrooms or teachers! But usually just with writing - often applied with a stamp/stamp pad in our modern era.

Back in the 17th, 18th and 19th centuries the fore-edge of books had original fine art on them - hand painted with watercolors.

Thank you do much for reading and taking the time to comment!!!

Happy sigh. So much to love! That amazing art kit! Those yummy waffles! Those beautiful hats! All that lovely art and the disguising of the โ€˜coffee dribblesโ€™!!! What a pleasure. Best of luck with the hair situation. Well done with dealing with it in such a generous way. You look terrific. Hugs from afar. ๐Ÿค—๐Ÿค—

Hi Sue, I love the artwork on the edge of the book. You may have started a new thing! My favorite elementary teacher, "Miss S," was bald, probably due to similar reasons. It shocked me at first, and then I was always struck by her beauty. You have that same glow to your face! I somewhat fictionalized that school year here, on Storyberries:

Take care,

Becky
