Lol!!! Most definitely not what my therapist intended!!! I got interested in books and carried away!! 🤣 I will be more careful in the future but it feels good to know I can keep up with the exercises!! But yes...🥴... I did waaay too much this time.
Hey Sue, you have made me happy! I so loved your notebook taking me to the Vancouver Community Library with you. Those four sides took me on an uplifting, expansive journey both in the library where I met the cool librarian, and way beyond the borders of the building to Japan (by the way, somewhere there is some fascinating work on the influence beginning of the 20th century Japanese art had on the development of the Danish design aesthetic…I need the cool librarian to help find it…). I loved the little details…the index numbers made my heart sing…
I think it’s something about the joyous spirit of enquiry, and finding ways of answering that in books, and being helped by a wonderful library to do that.
I just loved it all. So…your sore ankle and walking poles were worth it for all the material on Japan, for the fab brawling of it all…and for a man thousands of miles away from the Vancouver Community Library.
You have me so hooked on your library therapy series! I hope to see it continue for a few more posts! Best wishes for your Burtn Bridge Cellar ( love that name ) exhibit!
Dearest @jm_rives ( they/ them ) @Jeffrey Streeter @Sheila @Anne Belov @Liz Gauffreau @Nicolas Sutro - Today unfortunately I'm getting an error message whenever I try to reply to your many delightful comments. So I'm writing here to say Thank you to each of you - and am hoping this Note works:
You got it! I'll supply our persistent hedgehog with more art supplies and hopefully she'll do another mural for us…🤞🤞 💚💚💚💚💚💚💚

I'm very behind on my Substack reading - a case of 'life getting in the way'! - but I'm finally beginning to catch up with some of the goodies I've been missing. ❤️

1545 steps 😳, not sure that was what your physiotherapist intended you to do 🤪. Take a good rest and enjoy those Japan themed books meanwhile.

Sue, only yuo could think of, let alone draw, a "persistent hedgehog mural artist". I hope we'll see her again!
Yey for library updates! 📚
