For what it's worth, I did not identify either mistake even when prompted to seek them out. I appreciate you sharing a variety of solutions to correcting such errors. As someone who also works in ink, it is difficult for our brains not to just keep focusing on those errors so having some recommendations for dealing with them is great.
Thank you!! I'm glad my recommendations for dealing with mistakes was interesting to you! Often I correct things in my drawings because it makes me happier with my own work- not because other people would notice any issues with my drawings. On the one hand I try to be relaxed, (no perfectionism) about my own work and yet I also try to challenge myself and correct my drawings until I'm feeling they're at least "good enough". My primary thing is to maintain a peaceful happy relationship, so to speak, with my own creativity.
Wonderful! I love how you found a way round your issue with your gorgeous dragon - I didn't spot the mistakes, by the way, and even when you pointed them out they didn't change how much I loved the sketch! I loved the effect of wetting the ink, though - that was really cool.
Thank you for the link to Incidental Comics! I'll also be checking out the others, too, when I get a sec.

Thank you! It's certainly helped me to cope better with mistakes in life too. Thanks again 💚
Excellent post! Remember, in art there are no "mistakes." There's only "novel ways" to get to the final image!
Thank you!!! I love the way you phrased it "...in art there are no mistakes there's only novel ways to get to the final image!"!!!!
