Your sketchbook are so joyful and I love the idea of compiling them into a book. Several years ago, I committed to a daily doodle for a year in my mini sketchbook, though I never ventured into painting as the first task of the day.

Getting dog, let alone a cat, to sit still for more than 2.3 seconds while drawing suggests feeding those unsuspecting creatures very large doses of some soporific or suspension of belief.

This dachshund has been a cuddle bum most of his life - give him a lap and he's happy and quiet. The cat is a bit more active. That's why there are more photos on my Stack of dachshund.
