Our family celebrates Jolabokaflod known when it's at home as the "Holiday Book Flood". In a nutshell it's all about being comfortable and cozy, reading books, eating chocolate, drinking hot chocolate, wearing new (or at least clean) pajamas most of the holiday evenings.

Rather than Christmas my family celebrates Jolabokaflod, aka Christmas Book Flood, the Icelandic holiday tradition of giving and getting books on Dec 24th. As I said in my last post - it’s Jolabokaflod and the time for giving and getting books! It’s time for hot chocolate and reading the new books while wearing cozy new or at least clean pajamas! 🤣 Time for cuddling in a comfy place and letting the world and its cares fall away…
