Your "Two Irishmen" made me laugh and I recognized the words, "cocktails, etc" from a reggae song we heard on our car radio many decades ago, but it went like this: "Cocktails, ginger ale, 10 cents a glass. If you don't like it, you can kiss my hairy...ask me no questions and you will hear no lies. Spread no molasses and you will catch no flies". Funny I should recall those lyrics, but we still sing it sometimes. Cheers!

I love the way you've reframed your physical therapy to be a luxury! This so helpful and true, Sue. So many people in the world have no healthcare at all. Your gratitude is strong medicine. I wish you peace, perseverance and much love as you continue to heal! 💚

Thank you!!! I wish you love and peace too!! I also wish everyone in the world had all of the healthcare they need without being bankrupted by it. I am indeed appreciative of my good fortune and feel a duty to do well with this privilege I'm given. Thanks again!! Hugs!! 💚💚

I had to get some crutches 🩼 🩼 after an epic fall and slide on the way to work (my migraine brain wasn’t working right). I have a new found respect and understanding of being one legged! Wow I’m sooooo tired from all the extra effort. So lots of sympathy for you ❤️‍🩹 I’ll have to think of crutch names, they come reflective patches which had my partner in stitches 🤣 he kept saying ‘we’ll see you in the dark’ 😆

Oh I hope your migraine feels better soon!! I have sympathy for you in your one-legged state too - goodness yes all of the extra efforts are so very tiring. I have some stickers about art supplies on my crutches but no reflective patches!! Next time your sweetie says that you glow in the dark you can say "well, I happen to know that Sue Clancy envies me my glow patches and wants some in the shapes of stars!" 🤣🤣🤣💚💚💚🌟🌟🌟

The migraine has been much better today thankfully ☺️ Oh no, all my sympathy goes to you!! I had no idea, hopping is so draining. 🦩

I thought of stickers but I’ve only just got them today so haven’t yet applied any. Something to look forward to!

Haha star shape patches is a great idea! I wonder if they exist, surely they do? For bikes or something? 🌟 I’ll let him know, I look forward to testing out their reflectiveness now it’s dark!

Lol!! 💚💚 Today is day 4 on the crutches - I'm still new to them. Prior to this I had a knee walker which is exhausting in it's own way. Solidarity with you sister - we'll grow stronger together!!! P.S. I've found a short nap in the afternoons helps a bit...

Was it one of those zimmer frame walker things? Like with the four legs and wheels on two? I wondered if they’d be easier or not. I wish we had an electric scooter 🛴, they’re all the rage here.

I’m on day two ish, they arrived yesterday afternoon. How’s day four? Is it better? We can be crutch sisters 👯‍♀️🩼🩼🩼🩼 🩼 They’ll gasp at our muscly arms and one muscly leg *oh my, what muscly arms she has* people will exclaim in the street.
