The accordion book will be a children’s delight and keep sake. Art rewards with few words needed. The crow flies as a Ley line to follow magnetic earth lines. Ancient sacred lines of connection . Maybe crows know more than we know but call out to flocks to gather and collect new information. Hope your exhibit is accepted with great rewards.
I recently picked up a blank concertina sketchbook for a map-drawing project.... and it scares me! Not sure whether the source of the fear is the volume of paper, or the emptiness of the book.... or the scale of the project.... arrrrrrrghhhhhhh!
I could just go for it, though, right?!!!!!!! There, see? You've inspired me to do just that! HA!
Love your artist book! And always good to live somewhere with bookstores aplenty. I live on Vancouver Island and we are fortunate to have a few brilliant indie bookstores here. Love your drawings.
I love "As the Crow Flies!" As it happens, I observe crows flying across the skies of Tokyo quite a lot. Now I can think of your lovely book when I do so.
So beautiful! I love the handmade paper and black and white that flow with the nature of wildlife, a "direct" path, and the beautiful shiny and social nature of such intelligent birds!
I love artist books. I've been making a few of them and really exploring what else I can do with them. <3 <3
Glad you're making artist books too!! Isn't it a fun way to play with sequences of thoughts???
It is!
I wish I could buy a copy of your book. It’s beautiful.
Me too.... is it possible ?
The best part of As The Crow Flies is the destination! I love that the title of A. Little Bird's book is Told Ya.

I love color! But there is something very powerful about black & white art. As The Crow Flies is visually stunning. 💖

Lovely Sue! Keep soaring!
Your talent never ceases to amaze me. The hook at the end of “As The Crow Flies” is so darned clever, Good luck at the gallery. ❤️

What a beautiful creation Sue! I love how small it is too. It must be a delight to hold in one's hand and view in person. Thanks so much for sharing!
