I love all of these sketches and paintings, Sue! However, I especially love the βimaginated" and will now fold that into my vocabulary! Your god-daughter imaginated a perfect word!
What a delightful newsletter! Your week sounds like a delicious blend of creativity and inspiration. Those blueberry pancakes with the rabbits sketching had me grinning!
I love how you take inspiration from the real world and then let your imagination take flight. The "Not My Cup of Tea" painting sounds intriguing - can't wait to see the full details on your blog. And the little mouse sketch? So charming!
That tiny mouse reminds me of my time in London. Iβd take my second cup of the day and sit on the front step, watching life go by. Several mornings the Army took their horsed up to Hampstead Heath for exercise. Every day there was a steady stream of parents walking their children to the local school.
Itβs amazing how many memories one tiny illustrated mouse can bring back.

I'm totally distracted by those pancakes! I'm imaginating myself eating them. πππ
A mouthwatering post, Sue! I'm imaginating pannnnnngcakes (for that is the correct pronunciation, after all) on my own breakfast plate tomorrow. π
Pancakes aside, though, your art always hits the spot!
I love every one of these, Sue, and the blueberry pancakes made me salivate, J.L. ππππ₯

Sue, I'm so glad that you're continuing to make progress with your ankle. And I'm in love with that adorable little mouse! ππ

I hope youβre still finding improvements in your owchy foot!
Adorable mug! Iβve tried keeping cactus before, but I must have a black thumb. As easy as they should be, they havenβt survived!
