Sue, I have to brag a bit more about *Numpurrs* ...the woman who created the program, Karen (video of her talking about how she came up with this program is in the link you posted for the shelter), told me that the black cat in the pics, Lil Guy, was fascinated with the painting of the black cat in the book! LOL maybe he thinks they're related?! 🐈⬛😻

Dobbins, my wire hair dachshund, and I just finished rereading Louise Penny's Three Pines series although he falls asleep on my lap after the first few pages! Loved the photos of the shelter kitties receiving love and literature!
Those little girls must have been thrilled to read an art book to the cats! The photos are just wonderful. I can see that Hawkeye is a discriminating listening connoisseur. As for Rusty, can there be any other little face in the world as adorable as his? I think not!
I love love love the pictures of kids reading to cats! The cats really seem to be enjoying it. I never read to Mehitabel (what a bad Kitty mom!) but she enjoyed watching movies with me and sitting on me when I read.
